I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of North Texas, where I specialized in acrylic painting, along with a degree in Art Education. I later received my Master’s degree from the New Hampshire Institute of Art. I have been teaching while maintaining an active art practice, and I now work predominantly in oil.
My work is deeply influenced by my travels and the cultures I have encountered. I am particularly drawn to bright colors and bold patterns, which are frequently reflected in my work.
I strongly believe in the power of experimentation and play within the artistic process. By incorporating unconventional materials and techniques into my work, I am able to explore new ideas and push the boundaries of my practice.
